G-Dragon Denies Rumors That 'Bae Bae' Lyrics Refer To Suspected Girlfriend Kiko Mizuhara

While some fans are celebrating Big Bang's 2015 comeback without a second thought, others are reminded of a question about the group's rapper and producer, G-Dragon.

Despite several public denials, with attention refocused on G-Dragon, fans are again wondering what the nature of his relationship with Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara is. After the two were spotted leaving a fashion event together, Big Bang was interviewed about the lyrics to their love song "Bae Bae." It would seem that nothing has changed as G-Dragon once again avoided confirming a relationship between him and Kiko.

The speculation about the lyrics in "Bae Bae" was brought up in an interview with Star News (via Koreaboo). Specifically, there's a portion in the song where the lyrics refer to thinking of a woman as perfect at the age of 25. Coincidentally, that is the same age of Mizuhara.

Needless to say, G-Dragon was quick to push away the idea that the lyrics were a reference to her.

"Is Kiko 25? 'Bae Bae' was centered around the age 25 since we started working on it. It might come a bit offensive but we decided that 25 is the prettiest age," said G-Dragon.

"It doesn't necessarily mean specifically the age 25 though. The theme is about love the lyrics may literally say 25 but it's just a fun way to elaborate the idea of love."

G-Dragon's denial that "Bae Bae" is related to Kiko seems expected. It's hard to believe the pair however as they have been spotted spending much of their limited free time together. The fact that they make a point to spend that time in mostly private settings also suggests something to hide.

For some Big Bang fans however, it doesn't matter if G-Dragon and Kiko are dating or not. They're only looking for confirmation to end the confusion.

And maybe, just maybe, to celebrate one of their favorite K-pop idols finding happiness.
