SUPER JUNIOR K.R.Y Gathers As Much Demand as Full Group? Explosive Success at Nippon Budokan

SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y. released their first single "Promise You" on 23rd January 2013, and held "SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y. SPECIAL WINTER CONCERT in BUDOKAN" for 3 days from 22nd to 24th January at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.

The single "Promise You" is the very first CD they ever released as SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y., specially made for this concert and also the first original Japanese song for SUPER JUNIOR.

It's been about 2 years since they held solo concert tour since 2012. The tour started off back on 19th November 2012 at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall. They also held a show for 3 days at Pacifico Yokohama 19th - 21st November 2012, and another 3 days at Kobe World Hall 22nd - 24th December 2012.

There were a large number of applications for the tour in 2012 and E.L.F.s (SUPER JUNIOR's fans are called E.L.F.) requested for the additional concerts and this came true via the January shows at the Nippon Budokan, which is a special place for ELF and SUPER JUNIOR alike, as here is where SUPER JUNIOR held their first one man event in Japan back in 2008. For this SUPER JUNIOR - K.R.Y tour, they mobilised 36,000 audiences in Tokyo, with a total of 72,000 audiences in 3 cities 9 concerts. The application for the tickets was over 1,500,000, and proved their popularity in Japan.

SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y. is the male ballad group consisting of 3 members from the vocal line of  SUPER JUNIOR.  This sub-unit debuted with "The One I Love", the OST for Korean drama "Hyena" in 2006. SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y. is named from the initial of KyuHyun (24), RyeoWook (25) and YeSung (28).
