Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming original series Sense8. The science-fiction project is about eight strangers around the world that suddenly become mentally and emotionally linked. The Matrix creators Andy and Lana Wachowskis wrote and directed the series, which stars South Korean actress Bae Doo Na as one of the telepathically-connected protagonists.

Bae previously worked with the Wachowskis in the American films Jupiter Ascending, where she played a space pirate, and Cloud Atlas, where she played a series of roles, including a human clone and slave worker.

In the action-packed trailer, Bae shows some amazing moves in the boxing ring as she easily takes down opponents with her powerful punches. Her character is a Seoul businesswoman with some amazing martian arts training.

Lost actor Naveen Andrews and Maze Runner star Aml Ameen also star in the highly anticipated series. All 12 episodes of Sense8 will become available for streaming on Netflix on June 5. Set your calenders!

Recently, Bae Doo Na became a fashionable tennis player for the May issue of W Korea.
