South Korean male singer and American Idol alumni Han Hee Jun will be coming out with a duet single featuring Girls' Generation member Tiffany, reports Allkpop.

"The singer collaborating with Hee Jun is Tiffany," confirmed Tiffany's agency SM Entertainment to news organization OSEN.

The unveiling comes a few days after Han Hee Jun teased the collaboration with a Girls' Generation member.

On May 7, Han Hee Jun excited fans with a Facebook post teasing a duet with one of the eight girls of Girls' Generation.

"I'll be releasing my first duet single in Korea in May 15th! Who am I singing with? Here's a hint! She's the member of Korean girl group 'Girls' Generation'! Are ya'll excited? 5/15," said Han Hee Jun.

The 5/15 suggests the release date for the duet on May 15, 2015.

On May 11, Han Hee Jun announced on Facebook that he will host a Q&A with Tiffany.

While the concept for the collaboration has not yet been unveiled, fans expressed enthusiasm for the duet.

"I look forward to it!" "Cannot wait to listen to it!" said fans.

Han Hee Jun is the South Korean-born singer who placed ninth in the popular reality competition American Idol: Season 11. After the singing competition, he signed with Korean label Polaris Entertainment in 2012 and went on to gain further fame in South Korea after he finished in the Top 6 of the reality talent search show K-pop Star: Season 3.
