Luhan Appears On The Cover Of Forbes China As Success In The Country Continues

After a series of awards and praises, former EXO member Luhan's popularity is only continuing to skyrocket in China.

Luhan became the cover model for the latest issue of Forbes China. In the issue, the magazine ranked the top 100 Chinese celebrities in which Luhan placed 37th. Despite the rank, it is clear to see that Luhan's presence in the Chinese entertainment industry is growing exponentially as he dons the magazine's cover.

According to Yahoo! News Singapore Luhan stated in the accompanying interview with Forbes China, that he doesn't consider himself a big star as of yet but rather "it's the mixture of hard work and luck."

His talent even caught the eye of director Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying Daggers) and was recently cast in his first Hollywood film for The Great Wall scheduled for release in 2016. The movie will put the former K-pop idol on screen with movie industry big-wigs Matt Damon and Willem Dafoe.

According to a statement by Forbes China, Luhan is the first individual born in 1990 to be featured on the cover. They regarded him as the "new rising force" having seen continuous success within only a short period of five months.

Luhan has had quite the active year having won multiple awards for his popularity and acting talent. Back in January, Luhan was featured as the cover model for Elle China and in April filmed an endorsement with L'Oreal Paris for the "Mr. Light" BB Cushion Cream ad campaign.
