Hong Jong Hyun was effortlessly charismatic in the May issue of Sure. The We Got Married rising star rocked leather jackets, dark jeans and shiny loafers by designer brands such as Blind Horizon, Calvin Klein and BLK.

During the accompanying interview, the star revealed his childhood dream. "When I was in school I wanted to be a veterinarian," he said. "I wanted to get a lot of money to help Yugigyeon Animal Shelter or create more organic farms in the country."

When asked about the increased rate of models who have turned to acting, the star stated, "Nowadays, models are more popular. This is probably because the public has a greater interest in fashion. These friends [models] branch out into acting and already have a solid base of support [from fans]."

Hong was quick to thank the first generation of models that transitioned into acting. He asserted, "Cha Seung Won, Kang Dong Won, and other seniors were the first to start as models before establishing themselves as performers. These seniors laid the groundwork for us." He added with a laugh, "Of course, they were also very good looking."

Despite his growing film and television résumé, Hong is still also a high in demand model. He's currently the face of Jill Stuart's Love Edition Accessory collection.
