'Odd' Tracklist Reveals SHINee's Jonghyun Closely Involved With Comeback Preparations

SHINee's back, with some self-composed songs.

Top K-pop idol group SHINee kicked off promotions for their fourth album by releasing the album's tracklist. "Odd" will feature eleven songs and be released on May 18.

The tracklisting revealed SHINee's Kim Jonghyun as one of the composers on the album.

Kim composed the song "Odd Eye" and wrote the lyrics for both "Odd Eye" and the title song from the album, "View."

The singer previously revealed his skills as a composer on his debut solo album, "Base." Kim self-composed most songs, and wrote the lyrics for all songs but "Hallelujah," which was co-written by Korean singer Wheesung.

Kim also gifted solo singer Lim Kim (Kim Ye Rim) the song "No More" for her third mini-album, "Simple Mind."

Other musicians who worked on the album include Kenzie, The Underdogs, LON Noise, Jam Factory, MC Meta, Albi Albertsson, and several others.

SHINee is expected to perform songs from "Odd" at their SHINee World IV concert on May 15-17 in Seoul.

The group's first performance of "View" on weekly Korean music shows will air on May 21, on Mnet's M! Countdown. The following day, SHINee will appear on KBS2's Music Bank. The group will also appear on MBC's Show! Music Champion and SBS's Inkigayo on May 23 and 24 respectively.

SHINee celebrate their seventh anniversary on May 21.

"Odd" is SHINee's first Korean album since the release of "The Misconceptions of Us" in August 2013. The group released a Japanese album in September 2014, and focused on solo promotions throughout much of 2014.

Along with the tracklist and a teaser video, SHINee's entertainment agency SM Entertainment also released multiple conceptual images for the album, showing the members in solo shots and group photos.
