Boy group Big Star has been invited to one of the world's three major festivals.

Big Star will be attending the '64th Sapporo Snow Festival' culture event titled, 'K-Pop Festival 2013'.

They will be performing their debut song, "Hot Boy" and show off various stage performances.

One day before the event, the group will be visiting an orphanage and will be giving presents and school supplies to the children.

Big Star commented, "We are so excited because this is our first overseas performance. We are also excited that we get to meet with the children as well. We think of this as another opportunity to spread K-pop around the world."

This 'Sapporo Snow Festival' is one of the world's three major festivals and is hosted by Korea Cultural Industry Foundation and the Japan Sapporo Tourist Association.
