'American Horror Story' Season 5 Spoilers: Details about "American Horror Story" season 5 are still being kept under wraps, but Sarah Paulson dropped a major clue about "AHS: Hotel." Paulson is hoping to play a villain for the first time.

"I've never played any villain on the show," Paulson told The Wrap. "So perhaps there's going to be an element on bad, bad girl."

Ryan Murphy previously announced that Paulson would play "the baddest bad girl of them all,"

Rumors started circulating last month that Paulson would be playing hard-living rock goddess Janis Joplin on "American Horror Story: Hotel"Paulson was quick to shoot down the rumor with The Wrap.

 "I would love that," Paulson told TheWrap's Greg Gilman. "That would be amazing, but no, I am not doing that."

Paulson has been nominated for three Emmys over the course of her career, but TheWrap she won't be satisfied until she wins one.

"I was one of those girls who dreamt of doing this when I was a really small child. I've watched the Emmy Awards for as long as I can remember," Paulson told the magazine. "I have a lot of friends who have them, and believe me, I've been known to be in the rooms of their houses with these Emmys for a little too long, just stroking them. I think one time I took a nap with one, and that was a little disconcerting to my friend.

The Janis Joplin rumors were based on a character breakdown posted to Bloody Disgusting that said "Paulson has also played prominent roles in all the AHS seasons. In 'Hotel' she will portray a rock-star who checks into the hotel, unaware of the terrifying events that await her."

Paulson said she is excited to jam with the pop singer Lady Gaga.

"I will not have succeeded in this season if I do not have a way of contacting her directly, like a cell phone number, by the end of the season. It will be very embarrassing to me if we don't become really tight, close friends. The fact that I'm announcing that I want that is what should be terrifying to Lady Gaga."

"Hotel" will star Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson. While the plot for the new season has yet to be revealed, we have our theories.
