Senior actors did not hold back their praise for idol-turned-actors.

Senior actress Kim Hae Wok stated, "Honestly, there are misunderstandings and prejudice towards idol actors. We tend to think, 'how good could they be', but man was I surprised. They are so good."

Kim Hae Wok was talking about CNBLUE member Lee Jung Shin.

The two are currently working together for the KBS drama, "My Daughter Seoyoung." The two are playing the role of mother and son.

During a recent interview, Kim Hae Wok commented, "There is a reason for idol actors to be so popular. When I look at Jung Shin, I can see his sense and emotion in his acting."

For Lee Jung Shin, this is his first time acting with "My Daughter Seoyoung" being his debut.

His debut role happened to be the leading role and his position was a hard one even for senior actors.

For most idol actors, they receive much criticism for their acting, however, Lee Jung Shin was able to surpass that and receive much praise from senior actors.

Kim Hae Wok continued, "Even if I want to say something negative to him, there is none. He is so talented in both acting and singing. After filming, he sets off to go practice with his band. Seeing him so passionate in both fields is amazing."

Actor Song Wok Sook praised JYJ member Yoochun.

Song Wok Sook commented, "I usually don't praise rookie actors, but Yoochun was special. He seems to have a latent talent for acting."

The two worked together for the MBC drama, "I Miss You."

Song Wok Sook first saw Yoochun in his previous drama and thought that he would just do mediocre. Song Wok Sook was surprised to see that he worked very hard, "He has improved drastically and can bring out even deeper emotions in his acting."

She commented, "There are many rookies that don't want to learn or improve or just don't understand at all. Yoochun is different in that he has a professionalism about him that is on a higher level than other rookies."

Singer Seo In Guk also received much praise with his acting in the MBC drama, "Rascal Sons."

Seo In Guk was the winner of "Superstar K" in 2009 and later debuted with acting.

Many senior actors that he worked with praised his amazing acting skills, despite him being a singer.

The staff also commented, "His overflowing confidence and natural talent is truly amazing."

Many broadcast officials and critics tend to believe that idol members turned actors are a disagrace to the acting society. However, recently, it seems that many of these idol actors are actually much more talented that they thought.

These days, many agencies teach acting training as well as singing to broaden the artist's skills. That may be the reason for many talented idols in both the singing and acting fields.
