After announcing that she's pregnant with baby number 2, Kim Kardashian looked curvier than ever and showed off the beginnings of a baby bump in a sheer, skin-tight dress at the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards Monday night, where she was joined by her husband, rapper Kanye West.

"I took a pregnancy test and then took a shower," Kim told E! News about how she found out she was pregnant - after a year of trying - and broke the news to Kanye West.

"I looked by the sink and I said, 'Babe I'm pregnant!'" she said, to Kanye.

She went on to say, "We've known so early on. It was really hard and we wanted to make sure everything goes right first."

Now that Kim is officially pregnant with baby number 2, some are saying they could see a hint of a baby bump in that skin-tight, sheer Proenza Schouler black gown she wore at the CFDA Awards. The gown was designed with circle cut-outs rimmed in white, with feather embellishments on the shoulders.

Unfortunately it sounds like those feathers were dangerous!

"Shout out to Pharrell & Helen who saved my life last night!" Kim wrote on Instagram, repeating the message on Twitter and Facebook. "LOL After the awards at dinner the feathers of my dress caught on fire from a candle & they jumped on me to get it out!"

Luckily Pharrell was able to keep Kim - and her baby bump - out of danger!
