K-pop boy band SS501 member Kim Kyu Jong completed his Fine ThanKYU Japanese fan meeting last Saturday and Sunday.
The meeting was originally supposed to only be held twice on the same day, but due to high demand, the prmoters added another day.
At the events, Kim performed songs from his solo albums and SS501’s Japanese albums.
"I want to thank all the fans who waited patiently for three years for me to comeback," read a statement from Kim published Wednesday by the Korean news website Osen. "This was such a happy moment for me. I hope to see you all soon."
The SS501 vocalist plans to return to the neighboring nation next month, when his Japanese solo debut single is released on July 21. Kim is scheduled to hold a handshaking event at the Tower Records in Shibuya on July 31.
According to his record label, Kim prepared a long time for his Japanese debut.
