If you can look past the disjointed storyline and the New England football jerseys paired with New York Yankees hat, "Love Me Right" is really a treat for the summer. If you haven't checked it out yet, here are some reasons why we think you sould:

1. The backtrack

Like any pop song the beat in infectious and is a great fit for the summer season. With its funky instruments and clapping break downs "Love Me Right" is a driving around with the windows down kind of track.

2. The harmonies

Listen for yourself at 0:19

3. The dance

Though there's less hip thrusting than "Call Me Baby" (as far as I can tell), "Love Me Right" has a fun intensity that matches the song of the sound. I can't wait for the live/dance versions!

4. Line distribution

Sehun has lines! Though admittedly some of the former front men of EXO (like D.O and Chen) seem to have received less in this comeback it is exciting to see members like Lay, Xiumin, and Sehun getting more screen time.

5. Speaking of line distribution... Lay raps

Lay steps up and demonstrates his versatility with some smooth raps in the Chinese version. You can check him out at 0:37.

6. Unconventional song structure

When was the last time we had two distinct rap breakdowns in an SM song? Chanyeol, Sehun, and Lay all add an interesting break to the track that spices things up.

EXO just want to make us love them and they definitely have succeded! Check out the full video here:
