Monsta X’s ‘Trespass’ Music Video Breaks 5 Million Views In 20 Days

Hip-hop group Monsta X's debut album title track "Trespass" surpassed 5 million views.

"As of May 2, Monsta X's 'Tresspass' music video received 1.2 million views within 20 days in Korea and 3.3 million views on China's Tudou. It also received more than 500,000 views on other websites such as China's YinYueTai. This is an usual record for rookie artists, so we're just really grateful," read a statement from Starship Entertainment on Wednesday posted to the Korean news website OSEN.

Meanwhile, Monsta X ranked within top 5 at SBS MTV "The Show" on May 2 and fiercely competed against KARA for the throne. They also proved their popularity in China by dominating several music video sites such as Youku, Tudou, and YinYueTai.

Monsta X's debut album "Tresspass" drew explosive responses from the beginning by appearing on Mnet show "No Mercy" and the group became known as the "Super Rookies." "Trespass" lists 7 tracks that talk about the members' daring lifestyle. Title track "Trespass" features trap music that perfectly transmits Monsta X's youthful energy. Record label Brand New Music's Rhymer directed Monsta X to create an aggressive and daring character.
