2NE1 member Dara has flown to the islands of Hawaii and appeared to be having a fun time in the vacation paradise.

On June 4, Dara uploaded a photo on Instagram which showed her sitting in a balcony overlooking a beach and yacht dock while holding a ukulele.

She wrote: "Aloha everybody!!! Can you guess where I am~?? ^.^" along with a procession of icons showing flowers, trees, suns and surfing. Putting together the clues, fans identified her location as Hawaii.

In the photo, Dara retained her edgy city style by wearing black ripped jeans and a modern hat paired with a Hawaiian print cloth that she turned into a cape.

Dara's followers urged her to relax and see the sights of the famously laidback islands.

"Enjoy your stay here in Hawaii! If I see you, I will be sure to say Aloha," "Get your flip flops on and have fun," commented fans.

Fans were also curious about whether Dara was visiting Hawaii for work or vacation, and her companions for the trip.

In the past few months, Dara has spent most of her time shooting for two web dramas - We Broke Up and Dr. Ian - where she played as the lead female characters. She also appeared in a cameo for the KBS drama Producers.
