SBS FunE has announced that 4Minute's HyunA is preparing a solo comeback for the summer! According to the exclusive report, HyunA is working on her solo comeback album in hopes of releasing sometime in August.

However, a Cube Entertainment representative shared through OSEN that HyunA has been continuously working on her solo comeback and that nothing has been confirmed. Still, the projected goal is still an August comeback.

With previous summer hits like "Bubble Pop," "Ice Cream," and "Red" fans are excited to see what HyunA will bring this year. "Red," HyunA's most recent solo track from July of last year, set a sexy tone while the other two releases had a much cuter and bubbly sound to them.

Furthering the excitement are recent Instagram posts from HyunA herself practicing choreography. Many wonder if these videos are hints at what she might showcase in her next comeback. It has also been said that most of her preparations for this album are taking place in the U.S.

HyunA's August comeback would include her in this summer's battle of the girl groups. Girls' Day, A Pink, SISTAR, AOA, and Girls' Generation have already been confirmed for June and July releases. Coming back in August would likely put HyunA in directly into competition with these other popular groups.
