INFINITE's Hoya Joins Kim Sung Gyu for 'Daydream' Goodbye Stage

INFINITE's Hoya joined leader Kim Sung Gyu for his goodbye stage. Star News revealed that Hoya volunteered to accompany Sung Gyu on MBC's "Music Core."

Hoya has recently been busy filming for the drama Mask. Mask centers on the story of a woman who changes her identity in order to marry into a rich chaebol household. Hoya plays the protagonists younger, spoiled troublemaker of a brother. Despite being busy with Mask, Hoya nonetheless offered to perform in "Daydream" for Sung Gyu's goodbye stage to the stage more special.

"Daydream" originally features Epik High's Tablo. Since Epik High used to be signed under Woolim Entertainment along with Infinite, the members of both groups are quite close. Earlier in his promotions Sung Gyu explained that "Daydream" was his favorite track from his second solo mini-album 27 because Tablo and NELL's Kim Jong Wan, two artists that Sung Gyu admires and respects, participated in its creation. Since Tablo is currently touring around North America with Epik High, Hoya assumed his role for Sung Gyu's last stage.

Sung Gyu released 27 in May and has been promoting over the last month. Though his solo promotions are coming to an end, fans can anticipate Sung Gyu's return with INFINITE with a comeback hopefully later this summer.
