Crayon Pop Twins Choa And Way Show Off Individual Talents In Separate Musicals

The twins of Crayon Pop, Choa and Way, are trying their hands at musicals.

Choa recently made her stage debut in the musical Last Princess this past April. She stars both as the lead character Princess Deokhye, the last princess of the Korean Empire who is taken hostage to Japan, and as Deokhye's daughter, Jeonghye. Last Princess will run until later this month.

Meanwhile, Way has been cast in the twentieth anniversary performance of Singin' in the Rain alongside SS501's Kim Kyu Jong. Way has been cast in the role Yoo Miri. Singin' in the Rain runs from June 6 through August 30.

In addition to their activities in the five-member girl group Crayon Pop, Choa and Way have also made their debut as the sub-unit Strawberry Milk. Having spent much of their time performing together, the twin sisters are eager to demonstrate their separate charms while working in two different musicals.

According to Chosun News, Choa and Way have been taking acting lessons in addition to singing lessons. "All the members of Crayon pop hope to expand their careers beyond singing and into various fields," Crayon Pop's agency Chrome Entertainment said in a press release.
