Yeo Jin Goo On How He Manages Student Life And An Entertainment Career At The Same Time

Orange Marmalade star Yeo Jin Goo had a mature black-and-white pictorial in the June issue of InStyle. During his accompanying interview, the star discussed his favorite films, changing acting perspective and personal life.

Since Yeo began his acting career at the mere age of nine, the magazine asked him how he manages to go to school while doing different film and television projects. He revealed, "Hwayi director Jung Jun Hwan told me to complete my workbooks for my midterm exams while I was on the set. I was able to keep acting and going to school because people cared about me this way. It was possible because the attention came from both sides. I'm very thankful. It's true that going to school and acting weren't easy. And it's still not easy today."

He added, "When I was in middle school, I could keep up even if I had to do last-minute cramming. Now that I'm in high school, it's not as easy because you can't just hope to pull it off if you make no effort. I'm still going to school because I think I'm still a student and dropping my studies isn't an option."

When the topic switched to Yeo's current co-star Seolhyun, from the girl group AOA, the interviewer informed Yeo that she had chosen him as her most memorable acting partner so far. He responded, "I'm thankful that she sees me like this. I stay focused when I'm on the set. When I'm not acting, I release the stress and I have fun. That's all there is to it. Why did she feel this way? I guess I'll have to ask her."

Orange Marmalade airs every Friday on KBS2 at 11:35 P.M.
