Artist Seo In Young made a comeback with a new album "Re birth." Unlike her intimating personality that she is known for, she came back with a completely different theme this time and expressed how weak women can get in love.

On June 9, Seo In Young held a showcase of her new album "Re birth" in Seoul. She performed her title track "Lie" with rapper Kanto and also held a Q & A session with Kang Kyun Sung as the host.

Seo In Young's new color became more vivid on stage. During her performance of "Lie," Seo In Young talked about a man who constantly lies and told him to leave. The track's retro and swing style melody featuring Kanto's smooth rap captured her fans' attention. Seo In Young and Kanto also acted out the lyrics perfectly. Seo In Young played the part of a hurt woman and Kanto became a bad player and put on a performance that reminded the audience of musicals.

"Some fans wanted a dance track, and some, ballad. So I started pondering about what to do and when I heard this track, I knew I could satisfy all my fans with it," explained Seo In Young. She also added, "I incorporated my own experience in the tracks. I'm good at my career, but I'm not good at being in love," and explained how she could also be weak despite being known for her intimidating personality.

"I wanted to to show my natural side with this track. I went easy with eyeliners and wore brighter colored clothes. Through various ways, I'm trying to express a woman in distress over a breakup. I'm known for my obsession with new fashion and being intimidating. I disliked showing my weak side so far, but I decided that it's necessary to show a diverse side of me," Seo In Young added.
