Britney Spears has a grocery list and is checking it twice. What she doesn't seem to have is a clean pair of pants.
In a new set of photos published in the Daily Mail, Britney, grocery list in hand, heads to a grocery store near her Westlake Village, California home in stained sweatpants and construction boots, yet somehow still manages to pull it off.
The 31-year-old "Oops!...I Did It Again" singer emerges a few minutes later with bags of groceries and fresh flowers. Spears's bodyguard pushed the pop star's grocery cart.
Although recently fired as a judge on the Fox singing competition "X Factor," Britney was reportedly paid $15 million for her one season on Simon Cowell's hyped follow-up to "American Idol."
Spears is currently in talks with several Las Vegas casinos to have a long-term performing engagement. It has been reported the star would likely net as much as $100 million in the deal.
But on Sunday afternoon in ponytail and sunglasses, she was just Britney bitch-a down-to-earth southern gal clutching her grocery list and heading to the market, except for the bodyguard of course.
Please tell me that if the butcher asks Britney if she wants another pound of steak the star replies, "hit me baby one more time."
