Dave Grohl Literally Breaks Leg Onstage But Continues Concert, Will Foo Fighters Cancel Tour?

Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl was the epitome of a rock star during their Gothenburg, Sweden concert. Dave Grohl breaks leg after falling off the stage at the beginning of the concert but promised fans the show will go on after he gets mended by doctors.

"Now look!," he announced to the crowd while lying on the ground after falling as quoted by CNN. "I think I just broke my leg. I think I really broke my leg."

"So, look, you have my promise, right now, that the Foo Fighters -- we're going to come back -- and finish this show," he assured fans.

He went on to keep apologizing to the crowd, as cited by People.

After Dave Grohl breaks leg, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins took over for a while. BBC reported the band sang a couple of covers for a while.

Dave Grohl kept his promise and breaks leg in the figurative sense when he continued on with the show in a cast. He performed the rest on the show sitting and also standing while in crutches.

"I may not be able to walk or run, but I can still play guitar and scream," he told the crowd as mentioned in an ABC Australia report.

Fans expressed their admiration to the rock star when the band posted a photo after the Dave Grohl breaks leg incident. The photo shows his fractured leg but was captioned "Thank you Gothenburg. That was amazing."

There is now word yet if the incident could affect the rest of Foo Fighter's Sonic Highways World Tour that's now in Europe. According to their website, the band is set to perform at the Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands on Sunday and AFG Arena in St. Gallen, Switzerland on Tuesday and will also perform in the United Kingdom in the coming weeks.

In a report on Mirror, fans have been getting worried that the rest of the tour may be cancelled after the David Grohl breaks leg incident. They are also hoping the band would release a statement regarding this soon.
