2AM's Jo Kwon Rides Taiwanese Subway In Disguise

Taiwanese subway riders that may have noticed someone that looked like 2AM singer and musical actor Jo Kwon might have actually seen the idol.

On June 15, Jo Kwon uploaded a pair of photographs on his Instagram account (@kwon_jo) which showed him riding underground public transportation in Taiwan.

While waiting for the subway car on the platform, Jo Kwon wore a light disguise consisting of a mask that covered his mouth and nose. Inside the subway car, he then put on a black cap which made it harder for other passengers to identify him.

"Last time the car is too clogged for a long time... Kaohsiung train ride," wrote Jo Kwon as a caption to the subway ride photos, which revealed that his location. Kaohsiung is a large port city in southern Taiwan.

Another Instagram post from the idol revealed that he was able to watch advertisements on the subway for his musical Chess, a stage production based on the Russian chess grandmaster Anatoly Karpov.

Jo Kwon along with three other idols - SHINee's Key, B1A4's CNU and VIXX's Ken - have all signed on as leads in the musical at different performance dates. Chess begins showing on June 19 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Gwanghwamun in the South Korean capital of Seoul.
