iKON To Debut At The End Of Big Bang's 'Made' Series?

iKON has been as the next YG Entertainment group to promote after Big Bang.

On June 17, a music industry insider revealed the decision to debut iKON around the same time as Big Bang wraps up their MADE project.

"iKON has prepared more than 50 songs while preparing to debut," The source told Star News, "iKON will make their debut as early as August."

However, though their debut is projected for late-August/early-September, Xports News revealed the possibility of being it delayed. "The exact time frame is subject to change," a YG Entertainment representative stated, "but it will not happen past the second half of the year."

This is not the first time YG Entertainment has discussed iKON's debut coming after Big Bang's promotions. Fans are skeptical, though, since YG Entertainment has a habit of announcing potential releases and then postponing them indefinitely. The mention that iKON's debut timeframe might change does not help settle fans' worries.

iKON was formally Team B on the reality-survival show Who is Next: WIN. After losing the competition, the six members of Team B were placed into another reality-survival show called Mix & Match along with three other trainees to form a seven member group. Since then, fans have been anticipating iKON's official debut. iKON continued to earn fan interest when member Bobby won the rap competition show Show Me the Money 3. It has been almost a full year since Mix & Match ended and iKON was officially formed.

iKON is made up of members B.I, Bobby, Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk, and Chanwoo.
