Kobe Bryant Guarantees The Lakers Make The Playoffs And Are A Factor

Kobe Bryant says Lakers will make the playoffs and be a factor when they get there.

With 27 games to, 3 ½ games back from the eight seed in the Western Conference, chances aren't too convincing the Lakers can sneak in. It will be difficult, but there is a way.

LA has to jump pass the Rockets, who score at will.

Kobe Bryant believes the Lakers will not only get into the dance, but cause some damage while attending.

"It's not a question of if we make the playoffs. We will," Bryant told Sports Illustrated in an interview. "And when we get there, I have no fear of anyone -- Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Denver ... whoever. I have zero nervousness about that."

"We will compete. And part of the reason I have that confidence is the Miami game," Bryant said. "We had control of the game. That was no fluke. We were playing very, very well. We were reading the defense, making the extra pass. We were right there."

Maybe there really is no fear in the higher seeded teams, but if you can't win on the road, it's difficult to get on any of those teams level.

Being 9-18 on the road doesn't show signs of progress for the Lakers. This means 14 of their last 27 will be on the road. If they want any shot at making the playoffs, they need to make a run on the road.

It's not that LA is invincible at home, because they're six games above .500. In order to tally off an impressive winning streak that would help get in, the road to the postseason will be won on the, road.

The Lakers don't have the toughest schedule for the next month, but will match up against Kevin Durant and the Thunder, as well as the scoring-machine of the Nuggets. Both games are on the road.

This is the time for the Lakers to make that run to stomp their foot on the conference.
