[BREAKING] Wonder Girls Announce Comeback As 4 Member Act Including Reintroduction Of Original Member Sunmi

For the first time since 2012, the Wonder Girls are back.

The iconic K-pop girl group Wonder Girls, the quartet largely attributed as one of the most iconic Korean girl groups ever, will be making a comeback in 2015. On Wednesday, it was revealed that Wonder Girls were reunited to film a music video for their upcoming song.

Wonder Girls will return with a new lineup, featuring the return of former member Sunmi to the group.

The lineup for Wonder Girls' 2015 release consists of only two original members, Sunmi and Yeeun. Yubin joined the group in 2007 after original member HyunA, who later debuted as a member of 4MINUTE, left the group, while Hyerim replaced Sunmi in 2010.

This will be Sunmi's first song with Wonder Girls since the group's English version of their iconic song "Nobody" was released in 2010. Sunmi left Wonder Girls later that year in order to focus on her studies and developing her musical talent, and debuted as a solo artist in 2013 with "24 Hours."

Sunmi and Hyerim have not previously promoted together as Wonder Girls members.

This will be Wonder Girls' first release without two members. Leader Sunye got married in 2013, leading to the group's hiatus, is not returning to the group for this comeback, according to reports in the Korean media. Former member Sohee left the group following the expiration of her contract with JYP Entertainment in 2014.

JYP Entertainment previously neither confirmed nor denied Wonder Girls' comeback, but after Korean outlets reported about the filming confirmed that the four members filmed a music video.
