BTOB member Jung Ilhoon is reported to take on his first acting role in MBCEvery1's new drama Webtoon Hero - Tundra Show.

Ilhoon's participation in Webtoon Hero - Tundra Show was revealed on June 24 through OSEN. For Ilhoon's acting debut, he will be taking on the lead role of Sung Min. OSEN reported that Ilhoon immediately fell in love with Sung Min's character and decided to take on the role.  

Webtoon Hero - Tundra Show follows the story of Sung Min, his father, and his two brothers in a high school setting.

EXID's Junghwa and actress Lee Si Eon have also been confirmed for the drama. In addition, popular webtoon writer Kian84 is said to have participated in the drama's production from the very beginning and will be playing Sung Min's older brother Hee Min.

BTOB is currently busy preparing for their upcoming summer album scheduled to release on June 29. Ilhoon's fellow member Yook Sung Jae has recently gained popularity for his starring role in Who Are You - School 2015 and his on-going appearance on We Got Married. Since Ilhoon has proven himself as an entertainer through other MBCEvery1 programs like Weekly Idol, many fans are eager to see him in his first acting role.

Webtoon Hero - Tundra Show is likely to begin airing in July.
