Jason Statham Teases Plot of 'Fast And Furious 8;' Confirms Return To The Film!

Jason Statham just personally confirmed to Access Hollywood that he is reprising his role for "Fast and Furious 8."

"I'm a newcomer," he told Access Hollywood"I just got invited to the party in this last one so it's nice to know I'm gonna be doing another."

Jason Statham even said he's already got details about the film but backed up a little when pressed further.

"I could tell you what I I'd like to see happen, not on camera," he told the reporter. "I don't want to be the one who spoils everything and tell you, give you plot lines and stuff like that. But there is some great stuff that I already know about."

Jason Statham's last scene on "Furious 7" showed his character Deckard Shaw plotting a revenge after he was sent to maximum security prison as reported by Comicbook.

Little detail has been released about the next installment in the "Fast and Furious" franchise. As reported by Collider though, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson were reprising their roles. Diesel even teased about a possible change of location for the series. This time, they are reportedly looking at New York City.

Collider further reported that Kurt Russell's character may return along with Jason Statham on "Fast and Furious 8." "Furious 7" was purportedly supposed to show Russell in a significant role. But after Paul Walker's passing, the film became a tribute for Walker.

But even with Walker out of the picture, Diesel promised "Furious 8" would be great.

"I swear to you and to my brother upstairs [Walker], we are going to make the best movie you've ever seen," he said during CinemaCon in April as cited by Entertainment Weekly.

Jason Statham on "Fast and Furious 8" will be seen on the big screen on Apr. 14, 2017, according to Screen Crush.
