SM Rookies Doyoung And Jaehyun Finish Time As Hosts For 'Show Champion'

SM Rookies Doyoung and Jaehyun will leave their positions as MCs of the MBC's Show Champion.

On June 25, it was announced that the two trainees will step down as MCs as the program and channel reorganizes themselves according to Ten Asia.

The two SM Entertainment trainees became a hot topic when they took on the MC position, even though they have yet to debut as artists. They acted as the show's fourth generation of MCs, following Kim Shin Young and Super Junior's Shindong, T-Ara's Eunjung and f(x)'s Amber, and Super Junior's Kangin. Doyoung and Jaehyun joined the weekly music program on January 21.

Doyoung and Jaehyun are part of SM Rookies. Although the SM Rookies are a group of idols-in-training, fans can follow their trainee process and watch as they work towards their debut. Former SM Rookies include Wendy, Seul Gi, Yeri, and Irene who are all now members of SM Entertainment's popular girl group Red Velvet.

Doyoung and Jaehyun's final shooting as Show Champion's MCs will happen with the July 1 outdoor recording. Additionally, MBC has yet to announce new MCs for Show Champion following Doyoung and Jaehyun's departure.
