Jimmy Fallon in Hospital After Almost Losing Finger, 'Tonight Show' On Replay For Now?

Jimmy Fallon seemed to be doing better after a left hand injury on Friday. As reported by TMZ, Jimmy Fallon's hospital rush ended in the talk show host undergoing immediate surgery.

The Jimmy Fallon hospital chronicle can be seen on the talk show host's personal Twitter account.

"Tweeting with one hand," he wrote on his first post on Friday and attached it with a picture of his left hand covered in gauze and bandage.

He then shared how his injury happened.

"Tripped and caught my fall (good thing)! Ring caught on side of table almost ripped my finger off (bad thing)," he narrated.

He went on further to tweet the hashtags "drugged" and "blessed" and then said thanks to all the well-wishers.

"I'm doing well and thanks for good wishes everyone," he told his followers.

"He is expected to make a full recovery," his representative also told People following the Jimmy Fallon hospital rush.

The Friday taping for the "Tonight Show" was immediately cancelled following Jimmy Fallon's hospital ordeal.

"Hey guys - unfortunately tonight's taping has been cancelled due to Jimmy injuring his hand," announced on the "Tonight Show" Twitter account.

"He's totally fine but we'll be airing a repeat," it added.

Benicio Del Toro and Taylor Kitsch were scheduled to appear on the "Tonight Show" taping on Friday as reported by Deadline.

The May 22 episode of the show with Sting, Kevin Connolly and Kevin Delaney was aired on Friday instead as the article said.

It was also said that ticket holders for the Friday taping will be contacted for a reschedule.

The repeat airing of "Tonight Show" coincidentally came at a time that the show was to go on hiatus for the Fourth of July holiday. According to CNN, prior to the Jimmy Fallon hospital surgery, his show was originally scheduled to be off the air for the next two weeks.
