Glenn Beck Vs WWE: Talk Show Host Says 'Stupid Wrestling People' [VIDEO]

Radio personality Glenn Beck called World Wrestling Entertainment and its fans "stupid wrestling people."

Beck made the comment when he was talking about the WWE's new character Zeb Colter who he described as "demonizing the tea party." He then went on to bad mouth the company and its fans saying, "I would imagine that a lot of the people that watch wrestling are not New York elites."

The character Beck is referring to, Zeb Colter is portrayed as a racist Tea Party member. The character is there to help promote a match between Jack Swagger and Mexican-American wrestler Alberto Del Rio.

On his radio show Beck went through audio files of one of Colter's WWE appearances where he complained about people who don't speak English and what "real" Americans do.

Beck said that Colter's speech was "crossing into the territory of guns...so now you are tying racism, stupidity and guns together."

As characters in the WWE Swagger and Colter have teamed up to "say the things that need to be said, weather people want to hear them or not."

In response to Glenn Beck's comments, Swagger and Colter shoot a promo where they break character and explain to Beck that they are entertainers there "to get a positive or negative reaction from our fans."

"We aren't in the political business or the immigration business we are in the entertainment business...we look forward to continuing to tell provocative, funny and dramatic and sometimes controversial stories with characters of all backgrounds and beliefs."

Then in true WWE fashion, Glenn beck was invited to come on Monday Night Raw and deliver a five minute "unedited rebuttal to our global T.V audience."

Huffingtonpost.com reports that Beck turned down the opportunity to appear on Raw saying, "Unfortunately I am currently booked doing anything else."
