The Rock Goes Back To The WWE Stage, Going Back to Wrestling Permanently?

Nobody smelled what The Rock or Dwayne Johnson in real-life was cooking until Saturday came and he appeared on a World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE event much to the surprise of his fans.

The Twitterverse and Instagram world immediately got into frenzy as wrestling fans shared the The Rock WWE surprise to those who weren't in the live event, according to the WWE website.

In the video that was posted on Youtube, The Rock was seen facing off Bo Dallas on the WWE live event.

Dallas just dissed the city of Boston when The Rock entered the WWE stage and was cheered by the crowd. He then gave Dallas a much needed telling as reported by USA Today and told him "no one can stop The Rock."

The talk ended in a handshake but The Rock gave an unforgettable ending to his WWE appearance giving Dallas the "Rock Bottom" and then the "People's Elbow" much to the delight of wrestling fans.

The Rock shared his comeback on his Instagram account.

"No greater feeling than completely surprising my #WWEUniverse family by showing up unannounced at a live event," he wrote.

His followers praised him to making the appearance on a non-televised event.

According to the New England Sports Network, the The Rock WWE appearance was a rare sight for wrestling fans citing that celebrities of his stature often are too busy to make a comeback.

The Rock first appeared on WWE in 1996 as a third-generation wrestler. He worked his way to battle and emerge as a champion shortly. On the side, he appeared on films like "The Scorpion King" but still came back to WWE for his passion for wrestling.

But it purportedly seemed his appearance on the live event may just be a taste of what's yet to come.

The Rock revealed to Sports Illustrated last month that he was considering coming back for a match.

"Myself, Vince, Triple H have talked about creating something that is amazing," he told Sports Illustrated. "Any time for me, going back into the WWE, especially if it's a match - and these guys know this because of the open dialogue between me and Triple H."

"We continue to talk about it, and we're still shooting each other text messages," The Rock said about a possible WWE match return.
