The news of a Wonder Girls comeback has been swirling about, and curiosity is rising over the group's comeback theme. JYP recently revealed that Wonder Girls will make a comeback as a 4-member band and he will compose the group's title track himself. It was also revealed that Sunmi will rejoin the group and the news drew hot responses by those who have been waiting for the group's comeback for a long time.

Wonder Girls debuted in 2007. However, HyunA (now a 4Minute mebmer) left the group the same year for health reasons and Yubin joined in her place. They became a sensation with their hit track "Tell Me" and Wonder Girls held onto their top ranking status in the music world with "So Hot" and "Nobody" until they left to the U.S. to expand their activities abroad.

The group had to overcome another hardship in 2010 when Sunmi left the group to focus on her university  studies. However, Hyerim joined Wonder Girls to fill in and the 5 members (Yeeun, Sohee, Sunye, Yubin, Hyerim) released "2 Different Tears" and enjoyed great popularity. In 2013, member Sunye got married and the group entered their hiatus. Sunmi began her solo artist activities in 2013 and Sohee left the group in 2014 to further her acting career.

This will be Wonder Girls' first comeback in 3 years since their last album "Like Money" was released in July 2012. While very little has been revealed about the group's comeback title track, a source revealed Wonder Girl's plan to step into the spotlight with their muscial abilities by stating, "Wonder Girls will focus more on music rather than choreography." 

Longtime fans of the group are excited and anxious about what actually is in store for the long-awaited Wonder Girls return. KpopStarz reader superninja04 summed up her excitement in a recent comment, "Somebody grab a bucket because I just fangirled all over myself. Wonder Girls are FINALLY coming back, y'all!"

Wonder Girls will officially make a comeback in August.
