Moments before Charlize Theron walked the red carpet wearing a white Dior gown she sprang into action to help a security guard who was having a seizure.

The stunningly beautiful Theron was near the guard when his seizure began and he fell to the ground outside the Dolby Theater on Oscar night.

Theron and a few others rushed to help the man to his feet, while someone else called a doctor.

Theron made no mention of her pre-red carpet heroics during her Oscar interview. She took to the stage looking calm and collected and danced in the opeing number with Channing Tatum.

She told E! Online it was "completely nerve-wracking, but how could I not dance with Channing Tatum? He's so wonderful! "I was sort of tricked into it. I thought it was going to be something smaller, like he (MacFarlane) pulls me up from the audience and we do a little spin. But then he was like, 'Rehearsals start Monday!'"

There is no word on how the Dolby Theater security is doing after his seizure.
