"Pretty Little Liars" actress Shay Mitchell admitted to Seventeen magazine in the August issue that she doesn't need a boyfriend to make her happy. After breaking up with ex-boyfriend Ryan Silverstein in September, 2014, the "Pretty Little Liars" star said she'd only add someone to her life if he's "a suitable, positive partner."

As People magazine reports, Shay Mitchell's "PLL" character Emily has had her fair share of boyfriend problems (who can forget possessive Ben?). But in real life, the gorgeous star is not looking for a new boo.

"I have friends who like that drama. I'm not one of those people," she said. "If you're a suitable, positive partner, then great, I'd love to add you to my life. But I don't need anybody to feel complete. I don't need to be with somebody just to not be alone."  

Devoted fans will remember the Canadian-born, 28-year-old broke up from her boyfriend Ryan Silverstein last September. Mitchell and Silverstein were dating for about one year before they split. One insider told Us Weekly the former couple fought frequently leading up to their break up.

Shay has been single ever since, and a source told Us Weekly that she's fully enjoying the freedom of singlehood.

"She's definitely having fun," the insider said.

Silverstein, a Toronto native, is best friends with Drake, and even starred in the rapper's "Started from the Bottom" music video in 2013. He currently works under Drake's record label OVO Sound, as the hitmaker's assistant.

Last March, Mitchell told Bethenny Frankel: "Sometimes I'd rather kiss another girl than I would some random guy I don't know. They smell pretty, they have cute lip balm on."

And if you thought that was Mitchell's wild side peeking through, you have no idea! The actress also told People magazine that off-screen, she loves hanging out in the nude.

"I was a hippie child," she said in Seventeen, which hits newsstands July 7. "I find the human body so beautiful."

"It's not like I'm running naked down the street!" she explained. "I'm in my own house, and I always have a bathrobe really close to me because if there were an earthquake, I'd have to be able to run out with something."
