Jennifer Lawrence dyes her hair black after winning the Best Leading Actress Oscar for "Silver Linings Playbook" and forgetting to thank the director and producer of the film in her acceptance speech.

Lawrence dyed her hair at the Rosano Ferretti salon in Beverly Hills. Sources overheard her saying she was on her way to Hawaii for reshoots of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." Lawrence will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen in the film.

Perhaps Jennifer Lawrence is donning darker locks to make up for some mistakes she made on the night of the Oscars.

In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence said, "In the whirlwind of last night, I was remiss to thank two incredibly important people to this film and in my life."

One was "Silver Linings Playbook" director David O. Russell.

She thanked to him via EW.com, "Thank you for the most incredible experience of my life. Thank you for your genius, for your guidance, for teaching me things about myself and nurturing me to be a better actor."

"You have so much passion and such a bleeding heart, you believe not only in your films but what your films can do for people and that is the most important thing that I have learned form you," she continued.

Lawrence thanked producer Harvey Weinstein after the fact as well, "You championed this movie and its story from the early days. Your passion and unyielding support gave this film the opportunity to thrive and touch so many people. Thank you to both."

Lawrence explained that her forgetfulness was in no way intentional.

I will never be able to forgive myself for such a brain fart but I hope that you both can. Obviously it was not on purpose, I couldn't remember what I had already said and my mind went completely blank-your brain does funny things during the most overwhelming moment of your life!"

Lawrence received additional attention after the Academy Awards aired for stumbling on the way to the stage, and for an interesting choice of pre-awards food.

During a red carpet interview, the award-winning actress revealed that she was starving, according to Perez Hilton.

She quickly sent one of her accompanying friends to get some McDonalds from a nearby store.

Lawrence turned away from her interview to remind her friend to get fries and ketchup.
