Ace Frehley Home Faces Foreclosure Due to Non-Payment on His Mortgage in Two Years

Ace Frehley the former lead guitarist of metal band KISS, is facing foreclosure on his house as he hasn't paid his mortgage in two years.

U.S. Bank National Association filed a foreclosure claim earlier this month against Frehley as he missed about $735,000 worth of mortgage payments on his Yorktown, NY home. His last mortgage payment was made in March 2011.

The news surfaced after the foreclosure claim was submitted on February 15. Alsoreportedly owes back property tax on the home.

According to the Journal News that includes a "2011 lien of $5,131.61 for town and county taxes, as well as $13,425.94 for unpaid 2012 county, school and town taxes."

Frehley brought the 2,441-squqre-foot home that sits on 3.01 acres in 2000 for $650,000 and refinanced it in 2006 with a loan for nearly three quarters of a million dollars. It was originally purchased by Jendell Productions before transferring ownership to the guitarist in 2004.

Frehley, rose to fame as he the lead guitarist for rock group KISS throughout the 70s, then left the band in 1982, before returning to rejoin the band on tour in 1995.

It's not sure if Frehley actually reside in the home, however one of his companies, Max Cake Production, uses the residence as its business address.
