SM Entertainment will hold an event titled SMile Music festival.

The SMile Music Festival is one of SM's social contribution programs designed for children and teenagers who dream of becoming musicians despite being from difficult circumstances.

Youngsters who have participated in music clubs at their local community childcare centers for more than 6 months can apply to attend the festival at SM's official homepage or everysing, a smart karaoke service that partnered with the record label for the event. The open application date is from July 1 to July 19, and more details will be posted at the websites in the near future.

SM Entertainment will provide professional training, mentoring, and some financial support to the finalists. The winners will also perform with SM artists at COEX in Seoul later this year in November.

SM Entertainment will also hold hologram musicals and concerts for children around South Korea from July to December. Local community childcare centers who wish to participate in the event can apply through Daum's 'Hope' webpage.

SM Entertainment launched their social contribution brand SMile in 2014 and began volunteer activities as well as artist talent donation programs in collaboration with Samsung.
