U-KISS Singer Soohyun Announces Plans For Debut Solo Album In Japan

U-KISS leader and main vocalist Soohyun will be making his solo debut in Japan.

According to OBS, a music industry affiliate announced that Soohyun will be the first member of U-KISS to begin solo activities in Japan. Though recently announced, Soohyun's Japanese solo debut is already receiving a lot of interest since the album will feature a cover of the song "Melody" by Koji Tamaki. Tamaki is the vocalist of the popular Japanese rock band Anzen Chitai. Many fans are already eager to see Soohyun's take on the track.

U-KISS have experienced massive popularity in Japan, having debuted in the country at the same time as their Korean debut back in 2008. They have held sold out tours in Japan over the years and topped Tower Records charts.

In addition to preparing for his solo debut, Soohyun is also starring in the musical "Run To You," which premiered at Tokyo's Sell Blue Theater Roppongi on June 26. He stars alongside fellow U-Kiss member Jun and Block B members U-Kwon and Jaehyo. The musical is already receiving a lot of love from Japanese audiences.

Soohyun is recognized for his exceptional acting and singing abilities and has earned a lot of attention from various musical productions. Because of this, fans are incredibly excited to see what the powerful vocalist has to offer for his solo debut.

Soohyun's Japanese solo debut will be released on August 19.
