Big Bang member Taeyang showed off his new dreadlocks in their new music video for "Sober," but it has caused some division among fans with some not digging the look.

Taeyang has spent the last couple of days uploading pictures of him in dreadlocks on his Instagram account, and the comments section were a mix of praise and criticism.

"Bae I like your hair, is kinda fluffy," "Unique hairstyle, nice," and "You hair is lovely!" were among the positive comments Taeyang received for his dreadlocks.

While many found the hairstyle cool, there were also several vocal fans that did not like how it looked on their favorite idol.

"I am really worried for your hair," "Why your hair be like that? I think I love your hair in Bang Bang Bang video. One fan even wrote in disgust: "Gross hamster food hair."

Fans will get to see more of Taeyang's dreadlocks as Big Bang proceeds with another round of promotions in July after releasing "Sober" and "If You" on July 1.

The popular boy group has stormed the charts with these two new tracks not only in South Korea but also in other countries, including China.

"Sober" and "If You" are part of their single album 'D' and will be included in the full MADE album due out on September 1.
