Big Bang Daesung-Jang Keun Suk Rank Number 2 and 4 on Japan Oricon Chart, 'Hallyu Stars'

Actor Jang Keun Suk and Big Bang member Daesung were both seen on the Japan Oricon chart at number 2 and number 4.

According to the Oricon chart today, Jang Keun Suk's project group, Team H, ranked number 2 and Big Bang Daesung's first solo album, D'scover, was seen at number 4.

Team H's first album, I Just wanna have fun, is made up of Jang Keun Suk and producer Big Brother. They are a project group and they focus mainly on electronic music.

They began their first tour starting in Hiroshima on February 23-24 and revealed their title song, "What is Your Name" and "Feel the Beat." They released Korean, Chinese and Japanese versions of the song as well. They met with 10,000 fans at this concert alone.

They decided together to release 3 different versions as a way to express their thanks to their fans.

Team H first released their Chinese EP in 2011 and ranked number 3 on the Oricon charts in 2012.

They were also very famous for their appearances at international festivals such as 'Summer Sonic 2012'.

Big Bang Daesung's new album, D'scover, has a total of 12 songs, with 10 of them being covers of J-Pop songs and 2 being his own solo songs.

Daesung listened to over 200 famous Japanese songs and chose 10 songs that he felt fit his style and voice the most. He recreated the songs to fit his style and concept better.

He also worked with famous producers in order to complete this album.

Daesung will also be holding a solo Japan tour in 19 cities. Originally the concert was to be in only two places, but because of the numerous requests of fans, they added 17 cities, making it a total of 19 cities and 25 performances.

Daesung's tour will officially start in March.
