T-ara member Jiyeon and popular actor Lee Dong Gun have been confirmed dating after meeting and wokring together on a movie set, reports Allkpop.

A representative from Jiyeon's agency MBK Entertainment confirmed the budding relationship: "She and Lee Dong Gun are currently dating, and they got close through filming together."

The 22-year-old Jiyeon and 34-year-old Lee Dong Gun started working together in May for the upcoming movie Encounter, reports DramaFever, and it seems sparks flew despite their nearly 13-year age difference.

The relationship was also confirmed by Lee Dong Gun's agency FNC Entertainment with a representative reportedly saying: "After checking with the actor, they say they're not quite in a serious relationship yet, but that they have feelings for each other and are getting to know one another. It's been about a month since they've been spending time together."

Rumors of the relationship surfaced last week with the publishing of photos which show the dating couple looking chummy together in public.

Jiyeon and the rest of T-ara are scheduled to perform in Beijing on July 11 as part of their eight-city tour in China. Other concert stops planned for later this year include Macao, Hong Kong and Guangzhou, among other cities.
