Grigor Dimitrov left his coach Roger Rasheed, but not his girlfriend Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon 2015. Looks like the Bulgarian needed some change after his 3rd round knockout, but didn’t want everything to change.

According to BBC Sport, “Dimitrov said he had decided to end his working relationship with Rasheed "after much thought", and added: "We had many accomplishments together and I wish him all the best going forward."”

As for his girlfriend Maria Sharapova, she is facing her old rival Serena Williams in Wimbledon 2015 semifinals.

The fact that the world no 2 is doing so much better than he is doesn’t seem to faze Grigor Dimitrov very much. He has been under fire for not being able to keep up with her string of successes.

The only relationship trouble that they may face is the fact that Maria is far better in tennis.

According to Tennis World, Grigor Dimitrov has been having a hard time proving his talent this tennis season. The article reports, “Before the start of the Istanbul Open, Dimitrov had talked in detail about the growth he’d had as a player since last year and how he was expecting to do well in the season ahead.”

So to rectify the issue, he decided to let his coach Roger Rasheed go.

But Maria Sharapova has such a strong work ethic that it may be scaring her boyfriend Grigor DImitrov. After Billie Jean King praised the Russian player’s work ethic, Grigor Dimitrov went to Monaco to get into the mindset for the upcoming French Open 2015.

Let’s hope that the change in coaching will help the Bulgarian.
