Children who were raised in the United States between the 1960's and the early 1990's are likely in the middle of singing along to one of many variations of the tune to "The Mickey Mouse Club." The variety show geared towards children aired its final episode in America in 1995, but now Disney Channel Korea is revamping the show, and will be a collaboration between Disney and SM Entertainment.

The Korean version of "The Mickey Mouse Club" will be hosted by Super Junior's Leeteuk and the initial cast of young stars, commonly known as Mouseketeers, will be made up of members of SM Entertainment's pre-debut group SMROOKIES.

SMROOKIES Mark, Donghyuk, Jaemin, Jeno, Herin, Hina, Koeun, Jisung, and Lami will be appearing in the show that is being advertised as a "variety party show."

Each episode will feature a variety of guests as SMROOKIES incorporate music and story-telling, featuring a variety of skits and musical performances.

According to SMTOWN's official YouTube Channel, Leeteuk will co-host with Heo Jun.

The show will begin airing in Korea on July 23 at 8PM on Disney Channel and will air every Thursday.

SM Entertainment released videos of SMROOKIES members preparing to join "The Mickey Mouse Club" on its official SMTOWN YouTube channel. One video featured the female members of the pre-debut group, while the other featured the male members.

Disney Channel Korea is currently run by Disney Channels Worldwide and SK Telecom.
