The five-member K-pop boy band History, who will officially begin Japanese promotions next month, held a showcase on Saturday at Tokyo's Harajuku Astro Hall.

The group’s first showcase in Japan, 400 lucky fans were selected through a raffle to attend.

History opened the concert by performing their first Korean release “Dreamer.” During the latter half of the showcase, the group performed their upcoming Japanese debut single, "My Love," live for the first time. Fans reportedly held up banners reading, "congratulations on your Japanese debut," to the apparent surprise of the group.

“Thanks to everyone for coming out to our Japanese debut showcase,” read a statement from History posted on Thursday to the Korean news website OSEN.

The Japanese version of "Might Just Die"  is scheduled for release on Aug. 26 with their single, “My Love.” The group's three-city Japanese tour to promote the single will reportedly take them to Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.

“They will be successful in Japan,” a fan named Federick posted on June 29 to the Korean news website allkpop. “Japanese fans are open, supportive, loyal and rich. I envy them.”
