After appearing in a pivotal role during Chanel's latest fashion show in France, Big Bang's leader G-Dragon appeared in a group photo including famous stars and fashion icons.

On Thursday, Chanel uploaded a picture to Facebook featuring numerous celebrities including the brand's designer Karl Lagerfeld, Julianne Moore, Kristen Stewart, Rita Ora, Lily Collins, and K-pop icon G-Dragon. The group had previously appeared seated at poker tables that models walked around during Chanel's Fall-Winter 2015/16 Haute Couture in Paris, France.

"All of the people you see here are friends," wrote Lagerfeld on the brand's official Facebook page. "They all loved the idea."

G-Dragon stands out in the picture due to his vivid red hair, and a position in the front row of the four star-filled rows on the steps outside of the Grand Palais.

According to Chanel's official website, the idea was created by Karl Lagerfeld himself. The designer invited A-list friends of the fashion house to sit at tables in the center of the Circle Privé casino. G-Dragon could be seen in Chanel's official video of the event.

G-Dragon represents Chanel's growing interest in Korean fashion. The company's Cruise 2015/16 show was held in Seoul in May, and featured designs based on traditional Korean outfits including modernized hanbok and royal hair pieces.

The K-pop star is in the middle of promotions for the album "D," the third mini-album of Big Bang's 2015 "MADE" project. Big Bang released the dual singles "Sober" and "If You" on July 1.
