BTOB's Minhyuk proves that he can overcome embarrassment as he opened up about his recent pants splitting incident in an interview with Chosun Ilbo on July 10.

Minhyuk's wardrobe malfunction happened during the live airing of Mnet's M!Countdown, where his pants ripped and revealed his red underwear.

"I felt my pants rip the moment it happened but I could not see it. Because there were still two minutes left for our performance I could not leave the stage but I also couldn't dance I danced with my legs closed together. As soon as I left the stage our managers pat me on the back and hugged me," Minhyuk explained in an article by FN News.

Even directly after the incident Minhyuk was not shy to address what had happened, using Twitter to make his own jokes on the situation. Fellow BTOB member Sungjae shared during the interview that Minhyuk enjoyed reading the comments and nicknames fans gave him after the incident. BTOB even gained new followers on their social media accounts after Minhyuk's personal messages gathered over 10,000 retweets.

"While I was embarrassed, I'm fine making the sacrifice since it brought many people happiness and helped spread BTOB's name," Minhyuk continued.

BTOB recently released their first full album Complete on June 29 and are promoting their title track "It's Okay."
