K-Pop Boy Band Face-Off: INFINITE's 'Bad' Vs. GOT7's 'Just Right' [POLL]

In the world of K-pop boy bands, INFINITE and GOT7 are not the most likely competitors. They are very distinct from one another in style, sound, and experience, with a four year gap between their debuts. But when INFINITE released "Bad" and GOT7 released "Just Right" at the same time, the two groups ended up going up head to head.

"Bad" and "Just Right," like INFINITE and GOT7 themselves, are completely different songs. Fans looking for a heart-pumping tune with intense and artistic visuals should go straight to "Bad." INFINITE promised an image unlike anything they have shown before and with their latest single, the group definitely delivered.

With lyrics about being controlled and lost in love, "Bad" manages to portray a feeling of helplessness in a cool and captivating way. Plus the dark and psychological horror-esque theme of the music video makes "Bad" just as visually captivating as it is addicting to listen to.

"Bad" took first place on Korean music portals Genie, Melon, Mnet, and Naver Music among others just one hour after release according to FN News.

On the other hand, "Just Right" is a confidence boosting song for summer. The music video shows the seven members of GOT7 complimenting a discouraged young girl, telling her that she's beautiful just the way she is and that she does not need to worry about how she looks or what the scale says.

The lyrics for "Just Right" have been receiving praise since being released for the positive messages about self-image. While "Bad" adds tension with its orchestral backtrack, "Just Right" is light pop track, easy and enjoyable to listen to. The boys of GOT7 embrace their cutesy sides in a way that is reassuring and fun.

Within 13 hours of release, GOT7 and INFINITE both broke 1 million views on their new music videos. Since then, GOT7 reached 2 million in just over a day. GOT7 promised fans they would release a dance practice video once their music video exceeds 3 million views and it seems like fans are well on their way to accomplishing that goal.

Although very different in sound and delivery, "Bad" and "Just Right" have been competing with each other since release. We want to know which track you prefer-- the dark intensity of "Bad" or the cute and confidence building message of "Just Right? Let us know below!
