f(x) rapper Amber Liu has started a new YouTube channel called What The Pineapple! with her friend Scott Kim.

Amber revealed the channel over the weekend, announcing on Twitter: "WHAT THE PINEAPPLE! Stay tuned you guys! First official video up tomorrow."

The official description for the channel explains where the title comes from and what Amber and Scott hope to serve up in terms of content.

"Welcome to What The Pineapple! We are two pineapples who have come together for the sole purpose of entertaining our viewers by producing a variety of fun and original content involving ourselves as well as our friends. We hope you enjoy our videos and continue to return for more!" read the official YouTube channel description.

As of this posting, the channel has nearly 35,000 susbcribers.

Since revealing the channel, Amber and Scott have uploaded three videos.

The first video is a launch announcement where Amber says: "This channel is basically about me, Scott, and friends doing our things and having fun."

The next two videos showed Amber and Scott playing the Whisper challenge - the same one that popular YouTube personalities like to play - one video each in the Korean and English languages.

Fans, especially international ones that speak English, were thrilled at getting a weekly dose of Amber on YouTube. They also wished the idol much success on her new endeavor.

"OMG, no subtitles needed! Good luck Amber on your new YouTube channel." "I am legit going to cry because I have waited all my life for this moment," said fans on YouTube.

Amber has been spreading her creative wings as of late. Aside from starting this new YouTube channel, she has also directed videos for SM Entertainment.

Amber and the rest of f(x) are reported to be preparing for a comeback in September following Girls' Generation, although it is not yet entirely clear whether the girl group will be returning as five members or without Sulli, as some news organizations have reported.
