Stephenie Meyer just announced the release of seven "Twilight" mini-movies.

"The time has come!" posted on her website.

"The seven final 'The Storytellers: New Voices of The Twilight Saga' short films from eight talented female filmmakers are now available for your viewing pleasure online!" the post also said.

She also invited everyone to vote for their favorite mini-movie after previewing them on the Tongal website. The Twilight mini-movies can all be also viewed on "The Twilight Saga's" Facebook page.

The finalists in the contest, according to MTV were, Sarah Turi Boshear and Nicole Eckenroad's "The Groundskeeper," Alanna Smith and Amanda Tasse's "Sunrise," Lindsey Hancock Williamson's "Turncoats," Kailey and Sam Spear's "The Mary Alice Brandon File," Cullyn Doerfler, Megan L. Reese and Maja Fernqvist's "Consumed," Thea Green and Yulin Kuang's "We've Met Before" and Cate Carson's "Masque."

According to Gossip Cop, the winner of "The Storytellers: New Voices of The Twilight Saga" will be announced next month. The winner will get a car, a cash prize and various filmmaking opportunities.

Aside from the online votes, the mini-movies will also be judged by "Twilight Saga" star Kristen Stewart, "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke, Oscar-winning actresses Kate Winslet and Octavia Spencer, Julie Bowen and Jennifer Lee.

Meyer launched the project along with Lionsgate, Facebook and Women In Film back in Sept. 2014 in a bid to bring more women filmmaker in the limelight.

"The female voice is something that has become more and more important to me as I've worked in the film industry," Meyer said in a press release back then.

"I'm honored to be working with Women In Film, Lionsgate, and Facebook on a project dedicated to giving more women a chance to be heard creatively," she also said.

In the viewing party that Entertainment Weekly attended on Monday, she reiterated the cause.

"In any given room you are talking to 50 male directors and one female director pitching for the same project," she explained.

"It's been really exciting to do something, maybe not on a huge scale, but on a small scale to get more female voices out there," she said further about the "Twilight" mini-movies.
